Advanced safety with functional design
The Cofra Flagging 2 belongs to the Dampermax Pro line, engineered to provide safety, reliability, and ergonomics for work at height. This single lanyard with integrated energy absorber is specifically designed to arrest falls in a controlled manner, reducing the forces transmitted to the user and ensuring safe operation even in demanding conditions.
Thanks to its robust design, high-strength aluminium hardware, and 11 mm polyamide static rope, Flagging 2 combines mechanical strength, flexibility, and light weight—an essential tool for professionals performing maintenance, industrial assembly, construction, or rope-access tasks.
Construction and technical materials
The Flagging 2 uses a kernmantle-type static rope (polyamide) offering excellent tensile and wear resistance.
Its integrated energy-absorbing system dissipates the force generated during a fall progressively, minimising injury risk.
The connectors, made entirely from forged aluminium, keep weight low without compromising safety:
-
Base connector: 20 mm gate opening, two-action automatic lock (TWIST) with Key-Lock nose for secure, snag-free clipping.
EN 362 certified, 25 kN minimum strength. -
Anchor connector: 64 mm gate opening, rear safety lever lock, also compliant with EN 362, 25 kN minimum strength.
Total length is 2 m with an approximate weight of 980 g, delivering an ideal balance of mobility and security.
Compliance and assured reliability
Cofra Flagging 2 meets EN 355:2002 requirements for energy absorbers, alongside EN 362 for connectors.
This ensures suitability for personal fall-arrest systems used in:
-
Construction and structural maintenance
-
Industrial or electrical installations
-
Work on roofs, scaffolds, or cranes
-
Rescue operations or professional tree work
Compliance with these European standards means the equipment has been tested under demanding conditions, providing day-to-day confidence and durability.
Ergonomics and ease of use
Designed for functionality and easy handling, the quick-opening, secure-locking connectors simplify attachment to anchor points or harnesses, reducing accidental opening risk.
The 11 mm static rope offers precise handling—even with gloves—while the compact, flexible absorber avoids bulk and preserves freedom of movement.
The result is a lightweight, intuitive, and trustworthy device for professionals seeking mobility and uncomplicated protection.
