PETZL FLOW SEMI-STATIC ROPE 11.6MM

The FLOW 11.6 mm semi-static rope has been designed specifically for use in tree pruning. With a fine diameter, the rope offers excellent flexibility and lightness, making it suitable for tree climbing. This feature allows for easier and more efficient handling during pruning operations.

The rope is constructed from 100% high quality polyester and is double braided to ensure strength and durability. The EverFlex technology used in its manufacturing ensures that the rope maintains its flexibility over time, even in difficult conditions such as water, dust or mud. This guarantees optimal performance and excellent manageability with the devices used in pruning.

The FLOW 11.6 mm comes with a terminal inserted into one end, which makes it easier to pass through devices such as branch savers or pulleys, as well as through the tree forks. The compactness of this terminal allows the rope to pass through the locking chain of the ZIGZAG and ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical Prusiks, offering greater versatility in its use.

The rope is available in two colors, green and orange, making it easy to identify different work ropes in the field.

As for the specifications, the rope has a diameter of 11.6 mm and is made of polyester. It complies with CE EN 1891 type A, ANSI Z133 and UKCA certifications, which guarantees its quality and safety. The weight per meter of the rope is 102 g.

In terms of strength, the rope has a strength of 15 kN both with a figure-of-eight knot and with the terminal ingested. The impact force, with a drop factor of 0.3, is 5.2 kN. The rope is rated to withstand up to 8 falls with a drop factor of 1. The rope construction consists of 24 spindles, with the sheath making up approximately 55% of the rope. The static elongation of the rope is 2.8%.

The rope is available in several standard lengths: 35 m, 45 m and 60 m. Each length is available in both green and orange colors.
