Less flexible than latex and neoprene, nitrile provides a good barrier for jobs that are in contact with solvents, oil-based chemicals, oils, animal fats, petroleum and ensures excellent abrasion resistance. Do not encourage or condone the use of nitrile glove in cold environments (it is likely to become rigid) and prolonged contact with oxidants and strong acids ketones.
